How to Find a Sponsor in NA

A sponsor in NA (Narcotics Anonymous) is a person who guides you through the 12-step recovery process. They offer support, share experience, and provide accountability. While InnerAscent is a recovery companion, it is not a substitute for a sponsor. It is important to choose someone you trust and feel comfortable sharing with.

Finding the right sponsor can make a significant difference in your recovery journey. Here are some steps to help you find one:

• Attend Meetings: Regularly attending NA meetings will help you connect with potential sponsors.
• Listen to Shares: Pay attention to members whose recovery stories resonate with you.
• Ask for Guidance: Don't hesitate to ask members for recommendations or advice on finding a sponsor.
• Be Open: Approach potential sponsors with an open mind and be honest about your needs.

While InnerAscent is not a sponsor or a replacement for one, it can complement your recovery journey by offering tools and a supportive community. Available on Google Play for Android, InnerAscent helps you track your progress and connect with others, while maintaining privacy.

Your privacy is crucial during recovery. InnerAscent ensures data protection in transit and at rest, although not with end-to-end encryption. Always prioritize your safety and consult healthcare professionals for medical concerns.
